The Alouettes de Saint-Jérôme were a Canadian ice hockey team from Saint-Jérôme , Québec . The team played from 1969 to 1972 in one of Canada's three highest junior ice hockey leagues, the Québec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

history

The Alouettes de Saint-Jérôme were founded in 1969 as a franchise of the Québec Major Junior Hockey League . You were one of the eleven founding members of the league and immediately won the West Division, which was rewarded with the receipt of the Frank J. Selke trophy . In the subsequent playoffs for the Coupe du Président , the team failed after victories over National de Rosemont and the Maple Leafs de Verdun in the finals with a sweep to the Remparts de Québec . The Alouettes could not follow this success in the following years and even missed the playoffs in the 1971/72 season after the first round in the 1970/71 season. After three years, the franchise was dissolved again in 1972.
