The Armada de Blainville-Boisbriand are a Canadian ice hockey team from Boisbriand in the province of Quebec . The team has been playing in one of Canada's top three junior ice hockey leagues, the LHJMQ , since 2011 .

history

The Club de hockey junior de Montréal were relocated to Boisbriand following the 2010/11 season and renamed Armada de Blainville-Boisbriand. The Canadian Pascal Vincent was signed as the first trainer and general manager, but he left the team a short time later for Winnipeg Jets . As his successor for the position of head coach, Jean-François Houle was committed at the beginning of August . The minority shareholders of the new team include the NHL players Daniel Brière , Ian Laperrière and Jean-Sébastien Giguère .
