history

The hall was opened in 1980 under the name Colisée des Bois-Francs and can accommodate a maximum of 3,420 people. The Tigres de Victoriaville , a junior team from the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec (QMJHL), plays its home games there. The arena is also known as the Amphitheater Gilbert-Perrault . The name rights to the hall were secured in 2006 by the Caisses Desjardins cooperative bank .
