The Center Marcel Dionne is a multi-purpose hall in the Canadian city of Drummondville , province of Quebec .

history

The Center Marcel Dionne was opened in 1963 under the name Center Civique de Drummondville . It has 3,038 seats. There is a maximum of 4,000 seats in the hall. The ice hockey team of the Drummondville Voltigeurs , a junior team in the QMJHL, plays its home games there. Before that, the Rangers de Drummondville of the QMJHL were based in the hall from 1969 to 1974. The hall has since been named after the former NHL star Marcel Dionne , who was born in Drummondville .
