The Moncton Coliseum ( French Colisée de Moncton ) is a multi-purpose hall in the Canadian city of Moncton , New Brunswick Province . It is the venue for the home games of the QMJHL team Moncton Wildcats . The arena opened in 1973. The owner is the Moncton Coliseum Complex .

The Moncton Coliseum is currently the venue for the Moncton Wildcats from the QMJHL. It previously served the professional ice hockey teams New Brunswick Hawks (1978–1982), Moncton Alpines (1982–1984), Moncton Golden Flames (1984–1987) and finally the Moncton Hawks (1987–1994) from the American Hockey League (AHL) for their home games.
After the World Curling Championships the men in 1980 was held from 4 to 12 April 2009 for the second time in Moncton Coliseum, the World Curling Championships the men instead.
New building
The construction of a new hall has been planned for several years. In August 2015 the city voted for the construction. The Moncton Downtown Center is to be built between 2016 and 2018. In December 2017, the new building for 100 million CAD with 8,800 built-in seats was a few months before completion. The construction is to be completed in July 2018 and the opening will take place in September of that year.
