The Harbor Station is a multi-purpose hall in the Canadian city of Saint John , Province of New Brunswick .

history

The Harbor Station was opened in 1993 and has a capacity of 6,200 spectators for ice hockey games. The ice hockey team of the Saint John Sea Dogs , a team from the QMJHL and the basketball team of the Saint John Riptide ( NBL Canada ) play their home games there. The hall opened in October 1993 with an Aerosmith concert that was attended by over 7,000 people.

The Harbor Station has been the venue for the Saint John Sea Dogs from the QMJHL since 2005 . From 1993 to 2003 the former AHL team Saint John Flames also played there regularly . On January 16, 1997, the AHL All-Star Game between the World All-Stars and the Canadian All-Stars took place in the arena .

The hall is also used for numerous other events such as concerts , shows and sporting events. Numerous artists and bands such as Elton John , Brad Paisley , Nickelback , and Aerosmith have performed .
