Nikolaos Boudouris ( Greek Νικόλαος Μπουντούρης , born September 25, 1971 in Volos , Greece ) is a former Greek basketball player .

Life

Nikolaos Boudouris, who plays in the position of Shooting Guard , began his professional career in 1989 at PAOK Thessaloniki . At PAOK, Boudouris was one of the leading players in the following years, winning not only a Greek championship and a cup, but also the European Cup Winners' Cup and the Korać Cup . In 1999, after 274 top division games, Boudouris moved to Panathinaikos Athens , where he stayed for two years and, in addition to two championships , was able to win the European Cup . Boudouris became the first Greek to win all three European basketball competitions. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Olympiacos Piraeus where he was able to win the cup again in 2002. After a year in Kozani near Makedonikos , he moved to Marousi Athens in 2004, where he stayed until 2006 before signing a contract with Olympiada Patron. With 574 first division appearances, Nikolaos Boudouris is the record holder of the Greek A1 league.

For the Greek national team , Boudouris completed a total of 102 international matches between 1991 and 2000 in which he was able to achieve 450 points.

In February 2009, Boudouris took over the role of team manager at Olympiakos.
