Nikolas Tsattalios (born March 1, 1990 in Sydney ) is an Australian football player with Greek roots.

Career

Tsattalios signed a professional contract with A-League club Sydney FC in 2007 and made his league debut in October 2007 when he came on for Terry McFlynn , making him the youngest player in A-League history at the time. While he came to a total of five missions in his first season, the mostly left-back player completed his only season appearance on the first match day of the 2008/09 season. In the following years he came for the youth team in the newly formed National Youth League for use, which he won with the team by a 2-0 final victory over Adelaide United.

After the end of the season he left Sydney and moved to league rivals Newcastle United Jets . There he received only a six-month contract for the upcoming games in the AFC Champions League 2009 , in which Tsattalios was not used. After he did not get a new contract with the Jets, he moved to Sydney Olympic in the New South Wales Premier League for the 2010 season . He started the 2011 season with Olympics league competitor Sutherland Sharks , before returning to the A-League in July 2011 with his move to New Zealand club Wellington Phoenix .

Tsattalios was on call in qualifying for the U-17 Asian Football Championship in 2006 , but was not re-nominated. In 2008 he reached the semi-finals with the U-20 selection at the U-19 Asian Cup and thus qualified for the 2009 Junior World Cup in Egypt, for which he was not considered.
