Nima Pirooznia

Nima Pirooznia (* 1981 in Tehran ) is a German politician. Since November 2017 he has been a member of the Bremen Citizenship ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and spokesman for the areas of cultural policy, health policy and creative industries.

biography

education and profession

Pirooznia grew up in Kiel . He successfully studied economics with a diploma and earned a master's degree in business management. He heads the organizational development of a medium-sized company in Bremen and teaches economics at the University of Bremen .

politics

Pirooznia has been politically active for the Greens since 2007. a. as a member of the state board and as spokesman for the state working group on economic and financial policy. He was a member of the advisory board of the Bremen - Findorff district and since 2015 a member of the Deputation for Economy, Labor and Ports.

After Kirsten Kappert-Gonther was elected to the Bundestag in 2017 and gave up her citizenship mandate, Pirooznia (list position 12) moved up to the citizenship on November 3, 2017.

In the general election in Bremen in 2019 , he lost his mandate.
