Nina Attal (* 1992 ) is a French singer-songwriter, guitarist and composer. It moves on the crossover of soul , blues , pop, jazz and funk .

Live and act

Attal grew up in the Paris area and has been playing the guitar since the age of twelve. She frequented blues clubs as a schoolgirl and was influenced by BB King , Sharon Jones , Larry Graham , Prince and Lenny Kravitz . In 2009 she won prizes at the Blues sur Seine junior competition in Paris (one of the largest French blues festivals). Afterwards she was established in the French blues scene and played at blues festivals in France (Europe Jazz Festival, Cahors Blues Festival, Rhino Jazz Festival, etc.), at the jazz festival in St. Germain de Prés and in 2011 and 2012 at the Montreal Jazz Festival . In 2010 she released her EP Urgency and in 2011 her album Yellow 6/17 , with compositions by her and Philippe Devin, with whom she also appears. The album WHA followed in 2014 .

In 2012 she toured Germany and performed at the Jazzopen Stuttgart and the Elbjazz Festival in 2013 . In 2017 she played with a new band at Elbjazz.
