Life
Di Majo graduated with “Lettera e Filosofia” and was an assistant director in charge of productions at the theater and also for the cinema; there was close collaboration with her Neapolitan colleague Mario Martone . After a video film, she directed the short film Era una notte buia e tempestata , which led to a television film for the RAI in 1998. With her short Spalle al muro , created in the same year, Di Majo won the "Sacher d'oro"; she also accepted occasional offers as an actress.
In 1999, critics praised her screen debut Autunno , which was followed two years later by L'inverno . It wasn't until 2010 that she staged again for the big screen.
Di Majo's lyrical style is compared to that of Michelangelo Antonioni and Joseph Losey .
