Nina Hasselmann

Nina Hasselmann (born May 31, 1986 in Nuremberg ) is a German hockey player .

Hasselmann has been active in youth teams for the German Hockey Association since 2001 . In 2002 she won with the German team at the U18 European Championship, in 2003 she won silver, as well as in 2005 at the Junior World Championship. In 2006 she was part of the winning team at the U21 European Championship. The defender made her debut in the German national hockey team on May 26, 2007 , and has since taken part in the Champions Trophy five times , with a second place in 2008 as the greatest success. In 2009 and 2011 , she took second place with the German team at the European Championships, in between was fourth place at the 2010 World Field Hockey Championship .

Nina Hasselmann has completed 219 international matches. (As of June 12, 2016)

She started at HTC in Nuremberg and moved to Munich SC in 2005 . Hasselmann is studying civil engineering in the Masters course.
