The Ninetta Gallop is a composition by Johann Strauss Sohn (op.450). The work was performed for the first time on February 3, 1893 in the Sofienbad Hall in Vienna.

Remarks

The gallop was put together based on motifs from the operetta Fürstin Ninetta , which premiered in 1893 . He joins a series of compositions (opus numbers 445 , 446 , 447 , 448 , and 449 ) that take up all the themes from this operetta. The first performance of this gallop took place on the occasion of the ball of the Academic School Association in the Sofienbad Hall by the band of Infantry Regiment No. 46 under the direction of Kapellmeister Johann Müller. After that the work found its way into the repertoire of other bands.

The playing time on the CD listed under individual records is 2 minutes and 28 seconds. This time can vary somewhat depending on the conductor's musical conception.
