Ninetta Quadrille

The Ninetta Quadrille is a quadrille by Johann Strauss Sohn (op. 446). It was performed for the first time on February 19, 1893 in the concert hall of the Wiener Musikverein .

Remarks

The work was put together based on motifs from the operetta Fürstin Ninetta , which premiered in 1893 . It joins a series of compositions (opus numbers 445 , 447 , 448 , 449 and 450 ) that take up all the themes from this operetta. The world premiere took place as part of the Sunday concerts by Eduard Strauss and was also conducted by him.
