Nisselsdorf is a desert near Gerbstedt in Saxony-Anhalt . It was a very old town. In the past, silver objects, a small oven and a Roman coin with the image of Caesar Volusianus were found here while plowing . Nisselsdorf was on the border between Schwabengau and Hassegau .

history

On July 2, 1046, Emperor Heinrich III transferred. the Meissen Abbey several goods in Schwabengau , including "in locis [...] Mecelesdorf". Möllendorf also claims this documentary mention . After the battle of Welfesholz around 1115, the village is said to have been plundered and burned together with Lodderstedt , Rote Welle , Wesenstedt, Milrode and Disdorf.
