Nitrous Oxide (* 1984 in Poznan , Poland ; real name Krzysztof Prętkiewicz ) is a Polish Trance - DJ and -producer .

biography

When Krzysztof Prętkiewicz discovered in 1998 how to produce music on the computer, it soon became a passion to which he devoted much of his free time. Without any basic musical training, he acquired the necessary knowledge himself. While his first productions were more in the field of hard trance , today Nitrous Oxide mainly produces uplifting trance .

In 2003 Krzysztof Prętkiewicz met the Polish producer Kamil Bigaj and founded the trance project 3rd Moon with him . Together, the two have released several singles so far, including "Diving In The Sky" and "Bliss".

His first solo production "Galaxia" was released in 2005 as a self-publication. Nitrous Oxide received early support from Above & Beyond , who signed him to their music label Anjunabeats in 2006 . The first single on this label was "North Pole / Frozen Dreams" in 2006. In the same year Krzysztof produced under the pseudonym Redmoon with "Cumulus" also the anthem for the sensation White in Poland.

In 2010 the debut album Dreamcatcher was released .
