Mike Koglin is a German DJ and producer .

biography

In 1998 Mike Koglin achieved a big club hit with his single "The Silence", a remake of Depeche Mode's " Enjoy the Silence ". The song also reached number 20 in the UK singles chart . Since then he has composed or produced a large number of singles as well as several remixes for well-known artists such as Dido , George Michael , Paul Oakenfold , Ayumi Hamasaki and Kirsty Hawkshaw . The song "When Will You Learn", which he wrote and produced for Boy George , even received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording in 1999 .

Koglin has released most of his productions with Anjunabeats , Armada Music , Vandit Records and Perfecto, as well as with various other record labels. With numerous international DJ appearances, Mike Koglin came in 2008 in the choice of the Top 100 DJs by DJ Mag at number 87, in 2009 he again reached the list of the best DJs in the world at number 88. Koglin has his own music label called Noys Music and another label , Yomo Records , which he launched in 2016 for progressive house and techno releases. He runs a monthly radio show, 'Every Direction, which is broadcast on DI.fm and a few other stations.

Since 2009 Koglin has developed courses such as Trance / EDM for LogicX and Ableton Live for the English music school Point Blank Music College , which he also supervises as a tutor online. Mike Koglin lived in London from 1990 to 2012 , and has lived and worked in Berlin since 2013 .
