Nitya Krishinda Maheswari
Nitya Krishinda Maheswari Korwa (born December 16, 1988 in Blitar , East Java ) is an Indonesian badminton player .
Career
Nitya Maheswari won the women's doubles competition with Nadya Melati at the Indonesian singles championships in 2005 . In 2006 both finished third at the World Student Championships . A year later Maheswari fought for second place at the New Zealand Open 2007 in mixed with Anggun Nugroho . At the 2009 Badminton World Championships she was ninth in doubles with Greysia Polii , and fifth at the 2009 Southeast Asian Games . In 2011 she won the gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games in doubles with Anneke Feinya Agustin . At the Asian Games 2014 she won the gold medal in doubles together with Greysia Polii.
She won her first Superseries title together with Greysia Polii at the Korea Open 2015.
In 2016 Maheswari and Polii qualified for the BWF Super Series Finals , but were unable to take part due to Maheswari's knee surgery.

Private life
Maheswari is the daughter of a Javanese mother and a Papua New Guinean father. He is a former player for the Indonesian national team and has played for FC Arema Malang for several years . Her cousin Lisa Rumbewas was a famous weightlifter and won two Olympic gold medals.
