society
Niweat began his career at Sinthana FC, which later merged with today's club FC Chula United . He spent four years with the club and made a total of 97 missions. He was able to celebrate the first titles of his career right at the beginning of his career. While he was runner-up in the Thai Premier League with the team in 1997 , he was able to look forward to his first championship a year later. By winning the championship, he was able to participate with the club in the AFC Champions League 1999/2000 and thus gained his first experience at international club level. In March 2000 he moved to Singapore in the S-League for Gombak United . There he played together with his compatriot Surachai Jirasirichote in defense. After only one year at Gombak, however, he moved to league rivals Sembawang Rangers . At both clubs, however, he was denied a title win. He then went to Vietnam where he played for NHDA Thép Pomina (later Thép Pomina Tiền Giang) for four years. In sporting terms, however, this was another descent for him. In the four years, the club rose twice. After the years in Vietnam he went back to Thailand and played one season for BEC-Tero Sasana . After a year he moved to Pattaya United on the east coast for 5 years . After 5 years he was drawn to arch rivals Chonburi FC . Via the detour Ayutthaya Warrior, he again signed a contract for one year with HIS club Pattaya United . After only one year he moved to the Thai League 2 for the newly promoted Kasetsart FC .
National team
His career in the national team began for him in the U-23 . He was part of the U-23 who fought for qualification for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Unlike many of his fellow players, he never took part in the Southeast Asian Games. For this he created something extraordinary. Niweat took part with the national team in all major and large tournaments in Asia since 1998. He was in the squad for the Asian soccer championships in 2000, 2004 and 2007. Since 1998 he has participated in all ASEAN soccer championships . In 1998 and 2002 he also took part in the Asian Games for Thailand. His achievements over the years have brought him a total of 92 appearances in the national team. He is considered one of the best and fairest defenders in Thailand.
As a player in the national team, he has so far competed in friendly matches against clubs such as Newcastle United , Real Madrid and Manchester United . However , he could never play against his favorite club AC Milan . Paolo Maldini was his great role model.
