The hull is welded from shipbuilding steel. In the foredeck, there are accommodations and sanitary facilities for the four-person crew as well as a small kitchen for catering to passengers. The high chimney can be folded down to pass under low bridges . There is a towing device on the aft superstructure. The crew consists of the skipper, a stoker, a machinist and a sailor.

The ship is equipped with two 55 hp, standing three-cylinder composite steam engines from the mechanical engineering institute Übigau , which act on two fixed propellers. For steam generation it has a horizontal flame tube boiler with 34 m² heating surface and a maximum operating pressure of 16 atm, made by Christiansen and Mayer, Hamburg. The coal bunker held six tons and the ballast tank 7000 liters.
