LWL industrial museum
The LWL-Industriemuseum - Westphalian State Museum for Industrial Culture is a decentralized industrial museum with eight locations in Westphalia and Lippe . The head office is located in the Zeche Zollern in Dortmund .
The other locations are:
- the Hannover colliery in Bochum ,
- the nightingale colliery in Witten ,
- the Henrichenburg ship lift in Waltrop ,
- the Henrichshütte in Hattingen ,
- the textile museum Bocholt in Bocholt ,
- the brickyard location in location and
- the Gernheim glassworks in Petershagen in the Minden-Lübbecke district .
The museum locations Zeche Zollern, Hanover and Nachtigall, the ship lift, the Henrichshütte and the brickworks are anchor points of the European Route of Industrial Culture (ERIH) and the Route of Industrial Culture in the Ruhr Area .
The museum is run by the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe .
