Route of industrial culture - industrial culture on Volme and Ennepe
Industrial culture on Volme and Ennepe is the name of theme route 9 of the Route of Industrial Culture .
The themed route includes five individual tours in the Hagen area, in the Ennepe-Ruhr district , and in the Sauerland in the Brandenburg region , which can be visited both individually and in detours using various means of transport (car, public transport, bicycle). It leads to the roots of the industrialization of the Ruhr area , which began with small, water-powered hammer mills in the region's side valleys. This is followed by a description of the tours and the sights to be visited here (changes to stations on the route over time are in italics ).
