Route of industrial culture - chemistry, glass and energy
Route of Industrial Culture - Chemistry, Glass and Energy is the 18th of a total of 25 themed routes on the Route of Industrial Culture . It is about the generation of energy by means of coal, gas or hydropower plants, energy distribution and the glass and chemical industry, which is mainly located in the north of the Ruhr area. With the coking plants and gasometers, the attractions also show the network economy.
In mid-2010 and at the end of 2011, the Ruhr Regional Association changed the route; the changes are marked in italics .
