The Villa Vorsteher is an entrepreneur's villa built in the 1890s in the city of Wetter (Ruhr) in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is located in the Alt-Wetter district on Kaiserstrasse, about 350 m from the town hall .

The building was built on behalf of Gustav Vorsteher , a local entrepreneur, councilor and patron , who used it as a representative residential building. The facade of the villa is characterized by brick , sandstone and some half-timbered elements . Gustav Werner worked as an architect. The garden side towards the back of the street merges into an approximately 4000 m² landscaped garden with lawn, old trees, a stream and ponds.

The building and the surrounding park have been owned by the city of Wetter since the early 1980s. Since then, the villa has been used as a “community center” by the city itself and also rented out to clubs and private individuals for events. The site is public and freely accessible.

In 1985 the Villa Vorsteher was placed under monument protection; it bears the serial number 28 in the monument list of Wetter . It is developed for tourism, among other things, through the Route of Industrial Culture .
