The Villa Concordia is the former director's villa of the former Concordia colliery in Oberhausen , Grillostraße 34. In memory of its last resident - Erich Meuthen - the name Meuthenvilla was popular for a long time (and is partly still today) .

The two-storey building with a yellow brick facade, designed in a historical style, was built in 1897. After the Second World War it was acquired by the city of Oberhausen, which housed the main office of the city library there from 1953 to 1975 . The building then housed the municipal film and image center. After renovation and modernization in the 1980s - the roof structure is the most obvious - the villa now serves as the headquarters of the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival .

The former private garden of the director's villa, about one hectare in size, has been open to the public as "Königshütter Park" since it was redesigned in the 1970s.

The Villa Concordia is a stop on the Route of Industrial Heritage .
