The Villa Friedrich Lohmann senior is one of the restored entrepreneurial villas on Ruhrstrasse in Witten .

It is located in the park of the Witten house used by the Lohmann family as a factory and residential building , which was destroyed in World War II and only partially restored in 1962. The villa was owned by Carl Lohmann (* 1803, † 1848), after his death the property of his nephew Friedrich Lohmann senior. (* 1810, † 1893) and later property of the city of Witten. The villa was used by the registry office and the adult education center in Witten until the city of Witten sold it in 2011.

The villa is located in the Witten city park , on the edge of which there is also the hereditary burial of the Lohmann family of industrialists . The house is part of the Route of Industrial Heritage .
