The Nobleknausane ( Norwegian are) a group of Nunatakkern in East Antarctic Coats Land . In the eastern part of the Shackleton Range, they loom over the Pioneers Escarpment .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1990 after Peter Howard Noble (* 1943) from the British Antarctic Survey , who wintered at Halley Station in 1967 and 1968 .
