Noel Mason Smith

Noel Mason Smith (born May 22, 1895 in California , † September 20, 1955 in Los Angeles ) was an American director and screenwriter .

Life

Smith began his Hollywood career in 1912. In addition to his work as a director and screenwriter, he also worked as an assistant director and second unit director.

In the 1920s, Smith directed a number of outdoor adventure films about animal stars such as Rin Tin Tin , Klondike and Silverstreak , and in the following decade had a contract with Warner Bros. and directed several westerns with actor Dick Foran . Later you will also find serials and adventure films in his list of 125 films.

From 1917 to 1926 he was married to actress Louise Fazenda ; he led a second marriage with Adeline Louise Paulson .
