Noma Bar (2015)

Avinoam Noma Bar (* 1973 in Israel ) is an Israeli graphic designer, illustrator and artist.

Work

His work appears in newspapers, magazines, book covers, advertising campaigns and his own books. Noma Bar has published more than 500 papers which have appeared in The Guardian , The New York Times , The Observer, and The Economist , among others . His graphics can be found on book covers for Don DeLillo and Haruki Murakami , appeared in advertising campaigns for Google, Sony and Nike, and have been used on many magazine covers. He has published three books of his work.

  • 2010: Wood Pencil, D&AD Professional Awards, Illustration: Book Design category for Negative Space.
  • 2011: Nominated for graphics category of the Design Museum 's Designs of the Year 2012, for his Cut It Out exhibition.
  • 2012: Yellow Pencil, D&AD Professional Awards, Book Design: Book Front Covers category for his Don DeLillo book covers.
