YK Nomad ( Japanese 有限会社 ノ ー マ ッ ド , Yūgen-gaisha Nōmaddo , English NOMAD, Inc. ) is a Japanese animation studio.

history

The studio was founded in July 2003 by Tatsuya Ono, a former producer of Studio Madhouse , who produced Card Captor Sakura , Chobits and Galaxy Angel there . The first works in which the new Studio Nomad was still involved as a subcontractor were the series Kimi ga Nozomu Eien , Gungrave and Fullmetal Alchemist . 2004 followed with Rozen Maiden, the first independently produced series, which was a great success and had two sequels.
