Nomada baccata is a bee from the family of Apidae .
features
The bees have a body length of 7 to 8 millimeters (females) or 6 to 8 millimeters (males). The head and thorax of the females are black and have red markings. The tergites are predominantly red, with white-yellow spots. The tergites are blackish at the base and rear edge. The labrum is red with a small tooth in the middle. The third antenna segment is just as long as the fourth. The scutellum is red. The rails ( tibia ) of the hind legs are provided with a tooth at the end and have very long, dark, curved thorns. The males have a black head and thorax with white and yellow markings. Your third antennae is very short.
Occurrence and way of life
The species is common in large parts of Europe. The animals fly from late July to mid-August, in Germany until the end of September. The species parasitizes Andrena argentata .
