The sources of the Nooksack River

The Nooksack Cirque is a kartal in the North Cascades National Park , in Whatcom County in the US state Washington on the eastern slopes of Mount Shuksan . Nooksack Cirque was formed by glaciers, and East Nooksack Glacier lies within the Kars below what is known as the Jagged Ridge head wall. The Kar extends from a minor peak of Mount Shuksan, the Nooksack Tower , to Seahpo Peak over a width of 2.5 mi (4 km) and a length of 1.5 mi (2.4 km). The meltwater of the East Nooksack Glacier flows over the Nooksack Cirque to the valley and forms the source of the Nooksack River .
