Nora Köppel
Nora Köppel , also Nora Koppel , (born May 19, 1972 in San Miguel de Tucumán ) is a former Argentine weightlifter .
She won the silver medal in the class up to 63 kg at the South American Championships in 2000. In the same year she took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney, where she was eighth. At the 2002 World Championships she reached eighth place in the class up to 69 kg. In 2003 she switched to the 75 kg class and won silver at the Pan American Games and was eleventh at the World Championships . In 2004 she won the silver medal at the Pan American Championships. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she finished ninth. In 2005 she reached fourth place at the World Championships . In 2006 she was banned until 2008 for a doping violation .
