Norbert Ebster

Norbert Ebster (born October 7, 1952 in Schwarzach im Pongau ) is a former Austrian professional footballer. He is married to the former Austrian ski racer Irmgard Lukasser-Ebster and has three children.

Ebster began his football career at SK Bischofshofen and in the 1971/72 season belonged to the team that represented Pongau football for the only time in the top division, then known as the "National League". In the summer of 1972, the midfielder moved to the then top club SK VÖEST Linz and won the only Austrian championship title with the works athletes in 1973/74 . He spent the 1976/77 game year with Austria Salzburg , but moved back to Linz after the season. After that he was still active for clubs from western Austria as a player, sometimes also as a player-coach.

From 1978 to 1986 Ebster was regional representative of Adidas Austria, responsible for key account management , product management and event marketing . Norbert Ebster is currently managing director of WL Gore & Associates Austria . There he has been entrusted with various areas of responsibility since 1986 : European Strategic Account Manager ; Sales & Marketing Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland; Member of the Global Pricing Group ; European Business Unit Leader for Gore Bike Wear TM and Gore Running Wear TM . Since 2007 he has been Global Sales Director in the Footwear division .
