Norbert Franz-Josef Tischelmayer

Norbert Franz-Josef Tischelmayer (born April 14, 1945 in Mühlbach am Manhartsberg ) is a freelance wine journalist . He lives in Vienna .

Life

The trained retail salesman worked for 35 years in an IT service company for banks and savings banks in the areas of data center , internal auditing , training and process organization as a manager. In this context, he led several major projects relating to rationalization (economics) and change management . He then worked from 2005 to 2008 as an event manager for the Weinviertel concert hall in Ziersdorf, Lower Austria. Tischelmayer regularly writes articles in specialist journals, e.g. B. Vinaria .

Tischelmayer has been responsible for the wine glossary at the Wein-Plus internet portal since 1999. With around 22,500 entries, this glossary is the world's most comprehensive wine lexicon on the Internet.
