Norbert Gronau

Norbert Gronau (* 1964 in Oberhausen ) is a German business economist and business IT specialist .

Gronau studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the Technical University of Berlin . There he became a Dr.-Ing. obtained his doctorate and habilitation in 2000. Until March 2000, he headed the production-oriented business informatics research group at the university.

In 2000 Gronau was appointed to the chair for business informatics at the University of Oldenburg , in 2004 he switched to the chair for business informatics and electronic government at the University of Potsdam . He is a member of the German Academy of Science and Engineering (Acatech) . The research areas of Gronau are in the areas of operational knowledge management , adaptable ERP systems and process analysis.

Among other things, Norbert Gronau is co-editor of the specialist journal Industrie Management and publicist for ERP Management. At the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society , Gronau is the director of studies in the research group Education and Further Training in the Digital Society .
