Norbert Näf (born September 22, 1967 in Andwil SG ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Life

Näf was 2005-2015 Mayor of Heiden and 2007-2017 member of the Cantonal Council of Appenzell Outer Rhodes . In the Cantonal Council, he was a member of the CVP / EPP parliamentary group, which he chaired from 2013 to 2016. Näf ran for the government council of the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden in the general election of March 8, 2015, but lost the election to Alfred Stricker .

Näf has been honorary president of the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden since 2011 . Since August 1, 2015 he has been the municipality clerk of Untereggen . In autumn 2018, Näf ran for the office of mayor in Wittenbach SG , was defeated by the non-party opposing candidate in the second ballot.

Norbert Näf has three children.
