Norbert Schlottmann

Norbert Andreas Schlottmann (born December 16, 1930 in Herne ; † January 11, 2004 there ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending primary school, Schlottmann completed an administration apprenticeship. He then embarked on a civil service career in the municipal administration and worked as a clerk at the personnel office of the city of Herne. In 1947 he joined the ÖTV .

Political party

Schlottmann had been a member of the CDU since 1953. Furthermore, he joined the Junge Union (JU) and was later district and district chairman of the youth association. He had been chairman of the CDU district association in Herne since 1971 and was elected to the state board of the CDU Westphalia- Lippe in 1973.

MP

Schlottmann was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from 1970 until his resignation on March 30, 1983 . In the federal election in 1983 he was elected to the German Bundestag via the CDU's state list in North Rhine-Westphalia , to which he belonged until 1987.
