Norbert Schulz

Norbert Schulz (born June 11, 1961 in Köthen ; † December 28, 2012 ) was a German professor for elementary school education at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg .

Life

Norbert Schulz was born in Köthen and attended the Polytechnic High School in Weißandt-Gölzau , then he passed the Abitur in 1979 at the Extended High School in Köthen. He studied German and music in Halle, graduating as a qualified subject teacher, and graduated in 1988 after three years of research with a doctorate in philology (Dr. phil). He first became a research assistant at the University of Education in Köthen, after which he then worked at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg. In 2010 he became the managing director of the Philosophical Faculty III ( educational sciences ). His main focus was on children's and youth literature as well as the use of reading and media among children.

Schulz died on December 28, 2012 and was buried in the Gertraudenfriedhof in Halle (Saale).
