Norbert Steiner

Norbert Steiner (born November 3, 1954 in Siegen ) is a German lawyer and manager. From 2007 to 2017 he was CEO of K + S AG.

Life

In 1980 Norbert Steiner finished his law studies at the University of Heidelberg . In 1983 Norbert Steiner joined the central tax and customs department at BASF  AG. From 1988 he headed the Customs and Excise Department there. In 1993 he moved to K + S AG and became head of the legal, tax and insurance division. Norbert Steiner was appointed CFO of K + S in May 2000. Since January 1, 2006, he has also been Deputy CEO of K + S. On July 1, 2007, he took over the position of CEO from Ralf Bethke . On August 19, 2014 he received a contract extension as K + S Executive Board Chairman until 2017. His successor is Burkhard Lohr .

  • 1993–2000: K + S AG (Head of Legal, Taxes and Insurance)

  • 2006–2007: Deputy CEO of K + S AG
  • July 1, 2007 to 2017: CEO of K + S AG

Personal

Norbert Steiner is married and has two sons.
