Norbert Visy (born February 13, 1983 in Szeged ) is a former Austrian handball player of Hungarian origin.

Career

Born in Hungary, he played for the first time with TJ Štart Nové Zámky in the 2005/06 EHF European Cup Winners' Cup internationally, but was eliminated in the first round against HSG Nordhorn . With TJ Štart Nové Zámky Visy was third place in the Slovak extra league in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons . From the 2008/09 season Visy moved to Tatabánya KC in his home country for a year . Then he moved to Austria to the UHK Krems . With the Lower Austrians he took part again in the 2010/11 season in the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2010/11 and reached the second round with the team, in which, however , they had to admit defeat to the Swedish first division club HK Drott . The winger ended his career in 2018.

In addition to his work as a trainer, he also works as a sports teacher. He studied communication and media at the University for Continuing Education in Krems .

In 2015 Visy became an Austrian citizen.
