Norberto Oberburger (born December 1, 1960 in Meran , Italy ) is a former Italian weightlifter .

Career

Norberto Oberburger celebrated his greatest success at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , where he was able to achieve a gold medal in the weight class up to 110 kg with an output of 390 kg. He also took part in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow , 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, and 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona , where he finished 10th, 6th and 10th.

He also won the world championship in 1984 in the category up to 110 kg with a total performance of 390 kg and won a bronze medal at the 1985 world championship. In addition, there is a silver medal in 1984 and a bronze medal in 1986, which he won at the European championships.
