Nordic Women's Football Championship 1978
The 1978 Nordic Football Championship for women's national football teams took place in Denmark between July 7th and 9th . Defending champion Sweden won the competition, which was held for the fifth time, for the second time.

The now four participating teams, Norway also took part for the first time, played the tournament winner according to the “everyone against everyone” mode, with each team playing once against each other. The team that had the most points or, if there was a tie, the better goal difference at the end of all games, won the tournament.
