From 1973 to 2018, Norfolk Island Airlines was the only airline on the Australian Norfolk Island based in the capital Kingston . It was first after merger with Lloyd Aviation Jet Charter in Norfolk Airlines renamed later, the operation and took this under the old name and new ownership in 2017 again.
As the last virtual airline to use these aircraft of the type Boeing 737-300 from Nauru Airlines . First, Brisbane in Australia and Auckland and New Zealand were served by Norfolk Island International Airport . The connection to Auckland was discontinued in September 2017. Ultimately, all flight operations were suspended in March 2018.
In the 1970s, its own Beech King Air 200 and Beechcraft Baron aircraft were used.
