Norio Takahashi ( Japanese 高橋 範夫 , Takahashi Norio ; born March 15, 1971 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Takahashi learned to play soccer on the school team at Chiba Kita High School and the university team at Chiba University . He signed his first contract with Nissan Motors in 1991 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1992 he moved to league rivals Urawa Reds . In 1996 he moved to the second division Brummell Sendai (today: Vegalta Sendai). In 2001 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club he completed 135 games. In 2003 he moved to the second division Sagan Tosu . For the club he completed 12 games. In 2004 he moved to Unión San Felipe . In 2005 he moved to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 47 games. In 2007 he moved to Albirex Niigata (Singapore) . At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
