Norio Tsukitate ( Japanese 築 舘 範 男 , Tsukitate Norio ; born April 2, 1960 in Aichi Prefecture , Japan ) is a former Japanese football player and current coach . He was the national coach of the national soccer teams of Guam , Bhutan and, until 2019, of East Timor , as well as the coach of the women's national team of Bangladesh .
Career
From 1986 Tsukitate had various coaching jobs with Japanese clubs until he became coach of the Guamian national soccer team in 2005 . In October 2011 he went to East Timor and coached the U19 national team there until 2014. In October 2014, Tsukitate became the coach of the Bangladeshi women's national team and an advisor to the U-16 women's national team. From March to October 2015 he trained the Bhutanese team during the second round of the 2018 World Cup qualification . After an argument with the team manager Hishey Tshering in the first game against the Maldives , he was released a day later.
In July 2018, Tsukitate returned to East Timor and coached the East Timorese national team . A year later he was replaced by Fabiano Flora . Tsukitate had complained that the renovation work at the national stadium of East Timor in Dili was further delayed and that East Timor was therefore unable to host international games in the country.
