Norman Brooks
Norman Brooks (born August 19, 1928 in Montréal , Québec , † September 14, 2006 ibid) was a Canadian singer and impersonator of Al Jolson .
Born as Norman Joseph Arie , son of Lebanese parents, he played in 1956 Al Jolson in fanfares of joy (The Best Things in Life Are Free) . Brooks performed in nightclubs and on television in Canada and the United States in the 1950s and 1960s . In 1960 he appeared in the film Ocean's Eleven .
