Norman Switzerland
The Norman Switzerland ( French Swiss Normandy is) a landscape in the departments of Calvados and Orne in the French region of Normandy .
The name comes from the rugged landscape, which is mainly shaped by the Orne River . Norman Switzerland is a hilly landscape with mostly dense vegetation. The buildings are more similar to those on the British Isles, mostly with slate roofs . It is located in the Armorican massif . In the Pays d'Auge , located in the Paris basin , more wooden roofs are used.
