Issue contents

Four times a year, Norr reports on experiences in the Nordic countries, nature and people. Environmental protection and sustainability are also an issue - also when it comes to paper, the choice of topic or means of transport.

The four seasons are of fundamental importance for the reports , so that the reports are always seasonal. In this way, the reader should always be presented with the most interesting places in the entire Scandinavian region .

Behind the magazine is a Swedish-German team with many years of experience in outdoor journalism. Each issue contains reports on the topics of outdoor & wilderness, culture & lifestyle, design & architecture, and nature & the environment. The core is made up of larger reports, most of which are designed as travel reports. This also includes the cover story, which extends over several pages.

The magazine is produced in Stockholm and is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by subscription and retail.

Green partner project

Since 2010, Norr has had certain contracts with companies in the outdoor industry that are actively committed to environmental protection, the so-called Green Partners . The conditions for these companies are, on the one hand, a holistic, systematic work strategy, through which the company's environmental impact remains as low as possible, and on the other hand, the availability of a wide range of products with ecologically compatible articles. For this you receive z. B. Special conditions when placing advertising in the magazine and a certain amount of free copies of each issue. In addition, the company's environmental strategies are presented. 5% of the income from the Green-Partner-Cooperation always goes to the Swedish environmental foundation "Naturarvet" ( German : the natural heritage).

Currently the Green Partners include Fjällräven , Haglöfs , Hilleberg , Lundhags , Patagonia , Bergans, bleed, Light My Fire, Morakniv and Woolpower .

So far, Norr has seen an increase in circulation and distribution every year. In 2017, a total circulation of approx. 30,000 copies was recorded, of which approx. 5,500 copies were distributed via kiosks, approx. 5,000 via subscriptions and approx. 14,000 in outdoor shops selected by the Green Partners .
