Norsketinden is a 2797 m high summit of the Stauning Alps in Scoresbyland in Northeast Greenland National Park . The mountain is surrounded by the Vikingebræ glaciers in the north and Gully glacier in the south. 3.6 km to the east-southeast is the Dansketinden, the highest peak in the Stauning Alps.
The Norsketinden was first created on August 7, 1954 by AR Heen, Ø. Roed and E. Jensen, three participants in a Danish-Norwegian expedition, climbed and initially named Erik Rødes Tinde . The Danish Place Name Commission gave the current name with reference to the nearby Dansketinden. A few days after the first ascent, the Swiss John Haller (1927–1984), Wolfgang Diehl (1908–1990) and Fritz Schwarzenbach also reached the summit. Graham Tiso and four other mountaineers climbed Norsketinden for the third time in 1962 via a new route.
